Actor’s Clinic

Open to all current and former students of MSM at no cost. We’re making it easier for you to practice your craft outside of class.

We’re here to help.

Need a refresher?

It may have been some time since you’ve been in class, or maybe you would like to prepare for an upcoming acting project. Or maybe you just need some inspiration.

Need help in your audition?

You have an audition and you need someone to throw lines with you, or maybe you need help crafting specific choices for your audition. Or maybe you need people to help you set up and record your self-tape.

Need to rehearse?

You’re in an acting project and you need a fresh point of view for your scenes. Maybe you feel stuck or maybe you need help exploring choices. Or maybe you just need a little encouragement.

Want to have your script read?

You wrote your own material and you want to hear it read out loud. Maybe you want to have it workshopped and developed with the help of your fellow students.

We’re here too, if you just need to talk.

So you’ve taken our classes, and now you’re at work. Applying the technique may not be as easy as it was when you were in class. You have to navigate a strange, new world with interesting people who work a little differently than what you expected.

“Forced to face my own vulnerability and accept it. Learned to not be self-indulgent by simply embracing the given, real, and imaginary circumstances. At the end of the day, it is within our power to explore and nurture our own safe spaces. Thank you for guiding us to find our voice.”

— Dolly Dulu

“Being an actor is a religious calling - because you’ve been given the ability, the gift to inspire humanity.”
